Merit Scholarship Information

2008-09 Academic Scholarships

Incoming Freshmen

George Fox University is committed to recognizing students who have demonstrated a strong academic performance. The scholarships listed below are based solely on the academic criteria listed. Every student who meets the criteria will be awarded the appropriate scholarship. Students with financial need will be considered for need-based aid.

National Merit Semi-Finalists and Finalists, National Hispanic Scholars and National Achievement Scholars will automatically receive a $15,000 scholarship from George Fox University.

We offer institutional grants for incoming Freshmen who apply with the FAFSA. We encourage students to file the FAFSA in order for us to provide the best financial aid package that we can.


Transfer Students

Students who have attended another college or university (and graduated from high school more than 1 year prior to their projected enrollment at George Fox) are considered transfer students. Merit scholarships for transfer students are determined based on the cumulative college grade point average.
